Wir freuen uns über die Ergebnisse aus Brüssel. Unser jüngster Nachwuchs Ebony aus dem E-Wurf, hat wie Ihr Brüder Elroij in Schweden, Best in Show Puppy gemacht!

Damit trägt sie den Titel
„Best Puppy Brüssel 2009!“

Special Terrier Show of the OG King Ludwigland

Following his call we attended the show of King Ralf Benning. It was as usual a royal show where lovely people and nice dogs took part. The show happened to be at the beautiful Rottenbuch. The royal family Benning tried really hard to organize a real special event, thus the exhibition hall was decorated in the typical bavarian style and they presented great prices.
As the show started on the afternoon and the wheather was fantastic I had some time to walk around with my dogs. In doing so I took lots of nice pictures.

Ms Heidecker shows us what is important at the ring and how you can motivate the dogs for it.
I‘m glad to get to puppy owners from our kennel to this event.
This workshop clearly shows us how difficult it is to present your dog in the right way. Even experienced exhibitors were able to learn something new, as we usually see ourselves only on pictures and hardly on videos when presenting.

25th Special Breed Show for Terrier OG Ammersee

We love to go to Weilheim since lots of well-known people from all over Bavaria are also visiting this show.
As it takes quite a lot of work and time to organize such a perfect exhibition, the organizers have to be glad of any help they got by the volunteers.
Actually those special shows are far more pleasant than the others as they are very familiar and quiet.

We are very much looking
forward to our results !!!

National Champions Show 2009 in Dortmund

The National Champion Show in Dortmund is the event of the year, that many breeders want to join.
The title national champion will be assigned by the VDH only once a year. For this reason it is very famous. Usually dog owners from all over the world are coming to this show but this year there were not many exhibitors visiting it. As the World Champion Show was taking place in Bratislava last weekend, many dog lovers were dreading the exertions of a new journey.
I‘m glad that we have done the journey to Dortmund as we would have missed out a lot.

World Dog Show 2009 in Bratislava

Once again it was time for the World Dog Show. This year it took place in Bratislava/Slovakei.

As in the years before, we as well visited this year the World Championship in order to meet many beautiful Black Terrier and their friends. At this Dog Show you can see lots of pretty Black Terrier from all over the world you can usually only find on pictures.
It is the peak of the year for all breeders as it shows us at what level we stand. The one who got an "Excellent" for their participating dogs is on the right way. It gives us also the opportunity to have a closer look at all the male dogs, who are suitable for breeding.

This year we have chosen a hotel outside the city in the mountains. This way we could very well relax, walk with the dogs and enjoy all the specialities of the regional kitchen. Here our dogs were welcome.

Elroij and his first Dog Show in Sweden

Elroij-Eugenij Zlato s Bavarskogo Dvora, originating from our breed, was joining his first Dog Show in Sweden. He was already gaining his first cup and proudly brought it home to his new owner Carina and Roger.

Centennial Dog Show in Wels (A)

From 21.08.09 until 23.8.09 a three days Dog Show took place in Wels. Lots of beautiful dogs from all over the world have been registered.
Being the youngest, Desya did really well against all those much older dogs in the Open Class. Only two dogs coming from Russia, which were being far more experienced and also very pretty, surpassed us.
It was great to talk with all the exhibitors.

- sickness of puppies and young dogs
- disfunction by birth and the influence on the sickness of puppies
- sickness of still sucking puppies
- sickness of aged puppies and young dogs

Our puppies at the age of 8 and 9 weeks

Even though the weather wasn't perfekt we have undertaken a lot with the puppies last week.
Our vets came to see the puppies and made a fitness test, injected the inoculation and inserted a chip. I am always very happy to hear that they all are healthy, have a nice set of teeth, that the boys are perfectly equipped..., that the puppies are beautiful and, what is the most important thing of all, that they are endearing and cuddly coevals.
Many thanks to our vets, who always have the time to lovingly take care of all our dogs.
A couple of days later did Ms Götz, the breeding warden of the club, and her colleague Ms Anders (breeding warden aspirant) approve the breeding certification. I am very happy with the result. Also many thanks.

The puppies are now 7 weeks old

It already draws to a close. Since getting new owners shouldn’t really be a problem for the puppies, we were now exercising on a daily basis how to go by car, to make excursions and to stay on the leash. Also the kids from the nighbourhood are regulary coming over to us and play with the puppies. Both sides are having so much fun and are pretty much enjoying themselves.
We have captured the most beautiful moments for you. See for yourself and lean back when watching the pictures.

The 7 dwarfs are already 6 weeks old

Time is running and the puppies grow up and develop their own little personalities. It is not only because of their weight you can notice them growing after each night!
Each of them has a different character and temper. But they all love to smooch! They all are very sweet and the new owner of the puppies will take very much pleasure in them!!
In spite of the current „Schafskälte“ (cold days in June) we took our dwarfs out to the garden and got rewarded by plenty of sun and warmth. „Dog auntie“ Tara and their big sister Desya have played with the puppies in the garden and also helped Mummy Leia educating the „wild ones“! We have already established a little „king of the tunnel“, too. Mail dog “Eliseij“ really very much enjoys running through a tunnel. Sister Ellizaveta just was gobsmacked (see the picture)!
We have injected the puppies against Parvovirose and have also dewormed them for the 3rd time.   Find more pictures at "Puppies E-litter".

Litter-E became 5 weeks old

The puppies now have their own daily routine where mealtime, bedtime and play time are regulated. They sleep through the night and are very happy. Their claws need a regular cutting since they very quickly grow again. Leia although allows Desya and Tara to help her with the education of the puppies. That way Mummy Leia can have a rest from the brats. And at the same time being seperated from their mum over a longer period doesn’t seem to be so hard for the puppies anymore. After all they pretty soon have to get used to live without her anyway. Besides I am also the puppies’ playmate for gnawing and tearing games.
The puppies are trained to listen to my „puppies call“ and swiftly run into me as they very well know that something special is waiting for them. And for a pee, they now slowly learn how to use the newspaper in the „puppies’ runout“ inside the house.
Since the 3rd week our puppies are listening to a CD with various sounds and noises on it. It’s amazing how they sleep or play in spite of the clamant noise!!
As soon as the cold wind is gone we will let the puppies out into the garden. All the kids from the neighborhood are already pretty keen on finally playing with the puppies!

Leias puppies yet are now 4 weeks old

We have opened the litter box for over a week now and the puppies move quickly and securely within their puppies runout inside the house.   As they are quite nosy, they again and again investigate the entire room. They play together and with their toys. I’m gradually introducing further foods to the puppies, what you very well can see on their weight. You can really notice, that the little teeth become very sharp now. Poor Mummy Leia.   As a matter of routine we have also dewormed the puppies fort he second time.  Find more pictures at "Puppies E-litter".

Alexa now lives in the USA

PART 2: As already reported in the news of 05.02.2009, we have given Alexa to a very lovely family. I surely know that she is fine and that she lives with the dearest family of all. I constantly keep in touch with Alexa’s new family which very much calms me down. At first I was scared that the new family will not get along with Alexa and vice versa. In this regard we made an arrangement to take Alexa back home again devoid of problems. But this is not the case. 
Alexa is at all times taking center stage and is getting spoiled and loved by the entire family. Since Alexa is now everybodies darling , I’m pretty sure, that she’s very much enjoying her new life!!! Even little Susanna says already in German „Alexa ist mein Schatz“, what means „Alexa is my darling“.
 Mary once was seeing her parents and all her relatives, who have of course lots of children too, and they also took her straight away to their heart. I would like to thank Mary for all the lovely pictures, which I will not keep back from all our friends, attending this website!
I definitely will some day visit Alexa and her new family!

Our 7 dwarfs are already 3 weeks old

The puppies are making good progress. Their eyes and ears are already open since a couple of days and they get along very well. They’re pacing around the puppy box nibbling and licking everything. In constantly playing around, the puppies are also trying to approach their brothers and sisters as well as their Mummy. They’re quite nosy and did already go on various excurisons at their puppy ranout inside the house.
Since Monday we add meet (pure tartar) and milk pudding to the puppies food. They very much enjoyed their first meet as they were so greedily and fast when eating it that they nearly had bite all my fingers off too.
Feeding the pudding was not so easy. Instead of getting on top of the bowl straight away, they were snooping for the pudding by starting at the bottom. Once beeing on top they greedily licked the milk pudding. In the end there was not only pudding on their noses, some of the puppies did even bath their feed in it! But they are fast learners. Give them a couple of days and they will manage! But still I have to say……the girls did get it far quicker than the boys………
Mummy Leia is fine too. She has been looked after very well in order to perfectly fulfill her duties.

Leias puppies are now 14 days old

The 7 dwarfs continuously make slight progress. Their eyes are lightly oppened and they can already sneek a peek. Likewise are the ears slowly opening up. They just drink and fall asleep in turns. In between they crawl around and exercise at the security bars.
Also, the puppies are now training their voices. They nag, try to bark and already snarl at their brothers and sisters!
Today we have dewormed the puppies for the first time. Without problems they have swallowed the liquid even though they did not like it. In addition we have shortened their claws as they were scratching Mummy's sensitive skin while drinking.

Two companion dog verifications

Last weekend (9th and 10th of May) our kennel „Zlato s Bavarskogo Dvora“ passed two companion dog verifications with flying colors!!!
The two sisters Dalija-Djamera Zlato s Bavarskogo Dvora (Mila) and Desya-Dawina Zlato s Bavarskogo Dvora from our D-litter
have practiced very hard on the drill grounds for that. Mila and her owner Kathi Fischbacher started their training at a dog's club in Nordrhein-Westfahlen, whereat Desya and myself went to a club in Bavaria.

Puppies progress report - aged 10 days

They are bride awake, crawling and snooping around. They compete against each other when drinking by Mummy Leia and of course battle for the pole
position at her tits. From time to time they are getting quite noisy, especially when 2 puppies are arguing about the best position, which really sounds very angrily. From today some of the puppies already twinkle a little
bit out of their eyes. But it still will take a couple of days until their eyes are completely open. Enjoy viewing the pictures.

Today the puppies are being 1 week old. They have already put on some weight, as they don't do anything else as just drink and sleep.
The breeding warden Ms Götz visited us today and was very happy with the condition of the puppies and their mummy.

Skiing and Cross-Country Skiing in the Mountain

Last weekend all of us including our dogs went to a short trip to Austria. Yes, it is possible - see as a proof the pictures we made. There was fantastic weahther in "Hochfügen" and snow as much as you can think of. It really was great! We went hiking with our dogs and very much enjoyed ourselves!

By now - Alexa lives in the USA

With a heavy heart we gave Alexa to a lovely family. This decission was very very hard for us! Actually this family has already been interested in Alexa since last year. But at that time we were not ready to give her away. Since this family has got lots of children they hadn't got the time to take care of a puppy. For this reason they decided to take on a grown-up and trained Black Terrier, which is also very lovely, in order to become their family dog. But now we were ready. And now Alexa lives with her new family in the USA. She is very busy with her new big family and she gots all the love she needs! She managed the journey by plain very well and her new familiy took her immediatelly to their heart. Even Cloe the cat accepted her straight away and without any problems. The girls in the family comb, brush, walk and very much spoil her. I think once somebody is waiting for such a long time in order to get a certain dog and does not get another one instead, is certainly the right choice for our dear Alexa! We wish the Quale family and Alexa all the best and lots of love. Also we think this is the beginning of a great friendship! We really miss her!
