CACIB in Nürnberg

Am vergangenen Wochenende fand in Nürnberg die 37. Internationale Rassenhundeausstellung CACIB in Nürnberg statt.

Wir freuen uns über das tolle Ergebnis. Nun hat Desya auch den Titel: Internationaler Champion !!!

Nach der Ausstellung haben wir das neue zu Hause von „Fortuna“ und ihre Familie besucht. Hier ein Dankeschön für die schönen Stunden……….auch Schwester „Fee“ und Mama Leia hatten ihren Spaß!

Nun war es wieder soweit. Der Abschied ist gekommen, aber gleichzeitig hat ein neuer Lebensabschnitt für meine „Kleinen“ begonnen.
Wie immer war es sehr schwer „auf Wiedersehen“ zu „sagen“. Dieser Abschied wird jedoch um einiges leichter für mich, wenn mir die neuen Besitzer hin und wieder ihre Erfahrungen und hoffentlich auch Bilder zusenden. Wie schon erwähnt werde ich immer ein Ansprechpartner für alle bleiben.
Eine schöne Zeit wünsche ich allen neuen Besitzern und nach meiner Erfahrung werden sie diese auch haben.

The Litter-F in their 8th and 9th week

In den letzten 2 Wochen hat sich noch sehr viel getan. Wir haben die Welpen das 4te mal entwurmt.
Unsere Tierärzte waren bei uns und haben bei den Welpen einen Gesundheitscheck gemacht, die Impfungen gespritzt und einen Chip verpasst. Ich freue mich immer wieder, dass alle gesund sind.
Nocheinmal ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Tierärzte, die sich immer liebevoll um all unsere Hunde kümmern und sich immer viel Zeit nehmen.
Einige Tage später war unsere Zuchtwartin des Clubs zur Zuchtabnahme bei uns. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich auch sehr zufrieden. Auch hier ein herzliches Dankeschön.
Dann war es soweit für unsere Welpen die schon sehnsüchtig von ihren neuen Besitzern erwartet wurden.
Nun liegt es in der Hand der neuen Besitzer, die Welpen weiter zu lieben Begleiter im Leben zu erziehen. Wie ich schon erwähnt habe werde ich immer ein Ansprechpartner bleiben!
Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf viele Meldungen und Bilder von den neuen Besitzern mit ihren Vierbeinern! Viel Spaß wieder beim Anschauen der Bilder.

The Puppies in their 7th week

The puppies become more and more activ and sleep less. They very much enjoy their daily trips and rides by car. We also let the puppies out in the garden by the early evening when it gets already dark.
The puppies have to be brushed every day by now.
There is still one female dog from Litter-F available.
Finally the pictures have been taken (see Litter-F), unfortunately they did not come off very well.

Male Black Russian Terrier is looking for a new home

Since the family situation has drastically changed (due to sickness) we are looking for a new home for Barusch.
Barusch is a very friendly male dog. Being used to live in a family, he goes very well with kids and has no problems with other dogs in the family.

The Puppies in their 6th week

The puppies put on weight very well. We let them out in the garden on a daily basis, so they can play around. Also we take them on rides by car and go on small trips with them.
The puppies have been dewormed for the 3rd time. Look at those pictures from the sixth week.

The puppies in the 5th week

The puppies are very curious and constantly try to experience new things. They always play with their mummy Leia, sister Desya and aunty Tara. In doing so the puppies learn how to behave, and to respect the grown up dogs. This is very important for their live and especially for building the character. At the same time the bonding to us humans is vital too, that‘s why me and my family play as often as possible with them. They are climbing up on us or lie on our laps and very much enjoy their play time and share of kindness and affection.

The puppies in their 4th week

Time is running very fast and soon we will have to give them away after the 9th month!
The puppies are well alert, nosy and they very much like to play in their new large runout.
In addition to the puppies mush they now get some sort of curd cheese. And on the evening we feed them small amounts of minced beef. This will enable the future puppy owners to feet their puppies with rare meat later on ("Barfen").
We also have the puppies dewormed for the 2nd time.
At this week we have started to play various sound CDs to the puppies. This is a proven method for dogs to prevent any fear of sounds. Besides the New Years Eve with its annoying fireworks can come. By then they will got used to it and will be able to sleep well.

The puppies in the 3rd week

The puppies did proceed quite a lot. They gained a lot of weight, the eyes and ears are now open, the first teeth came through and they happily run through their breeding box. They are starting to explore everything in licking at it while nibbling and climbing on their mother, brothers and sisters. First steps in game-playing were made. They try to climb up on me and love to be stroked and hugged by me. And they quite well respond to my call already.

As soon as they hear the sound, they all wake up and run excited in a disordered way about, because they all know what it means: mush is ready! Since a couple of days we give the puppies mush in addition to their milk. They are very greedy and often fall asleep right next to their bowls after having eaten their meal. Those who still are awake after the mush can get some extra milk from their mother. After that their mother is extensively cleaning and cuddling them. Today we have set the large puppies runout, that gives them far more space to play and learn.

Our Litter-F is growing further...

By now our puppies are 14 days old. They put on more than double weight and the ears and eyes are nearly open already. At the moment they prefer to twinkle, but they soon will enjoy keeping their eyes open in order to discover the whole new world. They still sleep a lot or drink from Mummy’s milkbar, whereat they are fighting for the best position while loudly moaning and scraping. They already exercise their first snarling and barking sounds.

After drinking they just fall to the side and go on sleeping until the next meal. Some puppies like to crawl around before going to sleep. We also had to cut the claws of the puppies in order to protect the soft skin of their mother.

Since a couple of days the “little ones” started their first exercises in sitting, standing and running. They are already getting along very quickly.

The puppies also have been dewormed for the first time. Even though they all swallowed the liquid … it seems as they did not really like it (as you can see on the pictures)!
Mother Leia is fondly looking after her offspring and reluctantly leaves the puppy box. Aunty Tara and her sister Desya are very curious by now. They often lie in front of the box in order to see what is happening. Have fun looking at the pictures of the 2nd week!

The puppies are now one week old

The puppies are drinking very well and put on weight accordingly. Inbetween they are sleeping, crawling and cuddling up to their mother. In doing so they were tentatively and smoothly being massaged and cleaned by their mother’s tongue. We wish you lots of fun looking at the pictures of the first week!

The Litter-F - Leia‘s puppies have arrived

We are happy about our Litter-F that was born on Friday 29.10.2010. Mother Leia and her puppies are being very well.
We got 3 strong girls and 3 strong boys.

We are so proud of our busy and endearing mother Leia.

On 31.10. the breed warden Ms Anders has visited us. She is very satisfied with the puppies and their mother.

Our Leia got puppies at the end of october

CAC Show 2010 of the location group Gäuboden

CAC terrier show at Weiach

Last weekend the CAC terrier show took place in Weiach at Switzerland.

Organizer:
Patronat Swiss Foxterrier Club

Since only Urban is a member at the Swiss club, it was Ebony who made it to the club winner.
Although Alexij and Desya have won those classes too, they had to give up their titles to the second placed.

Special show of the Regensburg location group

On July the 4th the 2nd special show of the Regensburg location group took place in Traitsching (district Cham).

Brilliant results at the world championship in Denmark

From 24th until 27th of June the world championship took place in Herning/Denmark.

We have taken on the long journey to Denmark and have been plentiful rewarded for it!

We are very happy about the two winners of our kennel, on the one hand the world youth champion Ebony and on the other hand Desya with her 3rd place at the open class!!

We also congratulate Hollywood, the half-brother of Ebony and Desya, to come off second-best at the world championship.

I will soon report on this journey and our adventures.
